The differentiation process of the epidermal cells begins after the formation of the cells in the basal layer. In the upper layers, the cells undergo changes in shape and function and finally form the stratum corneum- the skin barrier, which is composed of dead flat cells, tightly linked together. A waxy substance is present between the cells. The final process is the desquamation – the shedding of the dead cells from the outermost layer of the epidermis. Any dysfunction in the differentiation process will lead to a defective skin barrier, dry or even flaky skin. Retinol affects the differentiation process and the epidermal regeneration rate. Alpha hydroxy acids affect the renewal of the epidermis and assist the process of shedding by weakening the strong connections between cells in the stratum corneum.
In addition, both retinol and alpha hydroxy acids affect the quality of the components of the deeper layers of the skin and therefore improve skin texture and topography. Therefore, the combination of alpha hydroxy acids at the optimal concentration and pH, with retinol is beneficial to the skin texture, skin tone and skin moisturization. The serum has a light texture, it contains retinol, glycolic acid, malic acid, vitamin C and vitamin E.

    Product Questions (6)

    Customer Questions
Can the same skincare product be used both day and night?
Yes, you can use the same cream morning and evening, but it’s not ideal. Day creams are designed to protect your skin, while night creams focus on repair and recovery.
How should I care for my acne-prone skin?
Taking care of acne-prone skin is all about being consistent. Dermatologists always say to stick to a gentle routine: cleanse twice a day, moisturize, and use products with key ingredients like salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide. And don't forget your sunscreen!
Why should I use specialized skincare products for my neck and décolleté?
The neck and décolleté area has thinner, more delicate skin than the face and is more prone to aging and environmental damage. Specialized skincare helps keep it hydrated, firm, and youthful.
How do I care for mature skin effectively?

To care for mature skin, use targeted products like retinol and peptide creams, add hydrating serums, exfoliate weekly, protect with SPF daily, and support your skin with proper hydration, nutrition, and rest.

What is the best way to cleanse my face?
Cleansing your face twice daily, morning and night, removes dirt, makeup, and impurities. Use a gentle cleanser with lukewarm water, adjusting for your skin type, to keep your skin healthy and radiant.
How should I care for my sensitive skin?
To care for sensitive skin, cleanse gently, moisturize daily, protect from sun, avoid triggers, and use products formulated for sensitive skin. Consistency is key.
