I’m pretty fair-skinned, and I didn’t notice any white cast, no overpowering sunscreen smell here. However, I did notice that on my oilier areas, my makeup tends to break up faster when I use this. If you have drier skin or don’t wear makeup daily, though, this would probably work great for you!
