How Often Should I Wash My Hair?
I get this question all the time! You’re probably worried you're washing it too much or not enough. The goal is to find a routine that keeps your hair feeling good without stripping it of all its natural oils.
Your Hair Type Is Key
- Oily hair: If your hair gets greasy a day after you wash it, you might need to wash it more often. Like, every day or every other day. Just make sure you're using a shampoo that's gentle and not too harsh.
- Dry or damaged hair: For hair that's on the drier side, washing it all the time can make things worse. Try to stick to washing just 2 or 3 times a week. Use a hydrating shampoo to add moisture back in.
- "Normal" hair: If you’re lucky and your hair isn't super oily or super dry, you can probably wash it every 2 or 3 days. It's a good way to keep your natural oils balanced.
